How does work
Don’t let the word “needle” frighten you. This is minimally invasive. Works by triggering the skin’s own repair mechanisms. This trauma prompts the derma, a deeper layer of skin, to rebuild. Microneedling increases the production of collagen and other healing factors by causing trauma to the skin. Collagen is an essential protein that helps keep the skin looking youthful, with a firm, smooth, and stretchy texture. Aging causes the decline of collagen in the skin, contributing to wrinkles and other signs of aging. Skin can also lose collagen due to injuries, such as acne scarring, stretch marks, or other scars.

After Your treatment
Immediately after your treatment, you will look as though you have a moderate to severe sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. You may also notice some slight swelling, all are normal and should subside after 1 to 2 hours and will normally diminish within the same day or 24 hours. You may see slight redness after 24 hours but only in minimal areas or spots.

We will discuss the products needed after your treatment. It is important to feed your skin, as your skin channels are open for optimal results.
How many will I need
Benefits of the Microneedling can be seen after just one treatment. It is recommended that a series of 3 to 6 treatments, space out 3-4 weeks for the maximum results. In cases where a more aggressive treatment schedule is needed such as our Scalp Hair Restoration, a greater number of treatments may be necessary for maximum results. Your skin care specialist will consult with you and prepare a package and regime specifically for your skin type and concern.
